Welcome to Creative Con. By purchasing a ticket and entering the event premises, you (the “Attendee”) agree to comply with and be bound by this Admission Policy. This policy is designed to ensure a safe, family-friendly, and enjoyable experience for all artists, creators, and fans.

Creative Con is organized and operated by POP Nippon Ltd (“the Organizer”).

1. Ticket Purchase and Entry

1.1. All entry to Creative Con requires a valid ticket/E-ticket and (where applicable) a wristband/badge issued by the Organizer. Tickets must be purchased through authorized channels.
1.2. Tickets must be printed or downloaded to a mobile device and presented at the entrance. The Organizer is not responsible for the inability to access tickets due to poor internet connectivity, device failure, low battery, or lost/damaged tickets.
1.3. Early Bird Entry: Attendees with Early Bird tickets may access the venue from 10:00 AM.
1.4. General Admission: Attendees with Family or Adult Entry tickets may access the venue from 11:00 AM.
1.5. Family Ticket: Creative Con offers a Family Ticket option for 2 Adults & 2 Children (aged 5–12) (subject to availability and any additional conditions stated at point of sale).
1.6. Onsite Registration: Tickets purchased onsite (if available) may be priced higher than advance tickets and may be subject to queueing and capacity limits. The Organizer does not guarantee availability of tickets onsite.
1.7. Badge/Ticket Security (Non-refundable / Non-transferable): Tickets and any wristbands/badges are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, and may not be resold, exchanged, or upgraded, except where required by law and as set out in Section 9 (Refund Policy for Cancellation/Significant Changes). The Organizer may require photo ID and/or proof of purchase and may refuse entry where fraud or misuse is suspected.

2. Age Restrictions and Supervision

2.1. Free Entry (Under 5): Children under the age of 5 are granted free entry when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
2.2. Accompaniment: No one under 16 is permitted entry unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The parent/guardian is responsible for the minor at all times while on the event premises.
2.3. The Organizer reserves the right to request proof of age and/or proof of guardianship at any time, including as a condition of entry.

3. Right of Admission and Security

3.1. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or eject any person from the venue without a refund for behavior deemed inappropriate, disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, or dangerous, or for breach of this Admission Policy.
3.2. For the safety of all Attendees, security personnel may carry out security measures including (without limitation) bag checks and the use of screening equipment. The Organizer may also conduct ID checks and may refuse entry where valid ID cannot be provided (including where required to verify age or ticket ownership).
3.3. Re-entry: Attendees wishing to leave and return to the venue must ensure they receive and retain a hand stamp or wristband (where applicable) at the exit point. Failure to do so may result in refused re-entry.

4. Code of Conduct

4.1. Creative Con operates a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment based on gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, or religion.
4.2. Attendees must follow the instructions of event staff and security at all times.
4.3. Respect for the “Marketspace” is paramount. Attendees must not damage, touch, or interfere with artist displays or merchandise without the trader’s express permission.

5. Prohibited Items and Cosplay Weapons

5.1. The following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal substances and drug paraphernalia.
  • Real firearms, ammunition, or functional projectile weapons.
  • Sharp-bladed metal weapons (knives, swords, axes).
  • Explosives, incendiary devices, or pyrotechnics.
  • Excessively large props that obstruct aisles or pose a trip hazard.
    5.2. Peace Bonding: All cosplay props and replica weapons must be checked by security at the entrance. Props deemed safe will be “peace-bonded.” The Organizer reserves the right to ban any prop deemed a threat to public safety.

6. Photography and Media

6.1. By entering Creative Con, Attendees acknowledge that they may be photographed, filmed, or recorded by the Organizer or authorized third parties for promotional, marketing, or news purposes.
6.2. Attendees grant the Organizer a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use their likeness in such media.
6.3. Personal photography is encouraged; however, photography of specific artist works or traders may be restricted. Please ask for permission before photographing individual stalls or creators.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. Assumption of Risk: Attendees enter the venue and participate in activities at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer, its employees, and its contractors shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to property, or any injury, illness, or other loss arising from attending Creative Con and/or participating in event activities.
7.2. Nothing in this Admission Policy limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
7.3. The Organizer is not responsible for transactions or interactions between Attendees and independent Traders/Artists within the Marketspace.

8. Changes to the Event

8.1. The Organizer reserves the right to alter the event schedule, guest line-up, timetable, opening times, floorplan, or featured activities without prior notice. Minor changes do not entitle Attendees to a refund.
8.2. Where changes are significant, the Organizer will handle refunds in accordance with Section 9.

9. Refund Policy (Event Cancellation / Significant Changes)

9.1. Event Cancellation: If Creative Con is cancelled in full and not rescheduled, Attendees will be entitled to a refund of the face value of the ticket (excluding any third-party booking/transaction fees not controlled by the Organizer), unless otherwise required by law.
9.2. Significant Changes: If the Organizer makes a significant change to Creative Con, Attendees may be entitled to a refund of the face value of the ticket (excluding any third-party booking/transaction fees not controlled by the Organizer), unless otherwise required by law. A “significant change” includes:
(a) a change of the event date by more than 7 days from the original advertised date; and/or
(b) a change of venue to a location more than 25 miles from the originally advertised venue.
9.3. How refunds are issued: Refunds (where applicable) will be processed to the original payment method where possible, and may take a reasonable period to appear depending on payment provider processing times.
9.4. No refunds for other reasons: Subject to Sections 9.1–9.3 and applicable law, tickets remain non-refundable.
